Design sonore // Sound Design
Je suis une conceptrice sonore, plutôt qu’un compositeur au sens classique du terme. Ce que je crée, ce que je fais, ce n’est pas de la composition musicale, c’est un univers qui a une vie en soi. L’art sonore est une expression qui vise à fournir une expérience hors du commun à l'auditeur. Comme Pierre Schaeffer le disait si bien, la musique ce n’est pas un objet usuel, utilitaire ou esthétique, mais une démarche spirituelle, un « exercice êtrique », une performance de l’être tout entier.
Sacha has showcased her sound art globally. Her installations, including Le Bruit de l'Inconnu (2015) in Marseille and Les Ondes du Bonheur (2016) in Montreal, have garnered attention. She also created an immersive music piece for a Montreal app in 2021 and performed at the Electric Circuits festival in Kingston, Ontario. Sacha has also participated in international art residencies, such as in Sweden, France, and Iceland.
